Holiday Season 2024 “It’s so beautiful, you did a great job dad!”

Dear Julia,

I am not sure what to even say right now. I’m looking back at some of the pictures from when you came over and saw Daddy’s Place completely decorated in both Christmas and Chanukah decorations.

We’ve never really done much for the holidays, but this year I wanted it to be special. And it seems like the first year you’re also fully making sense of things like this around you.

As soon as you came over to see all the decorations as BIG surprise for you, I knew it was all worth it. Your smile was incredible, and I was beyond happy to see how excited you were. You told me you wanted a Christmas tree, so I wanted to make that and Chanukah a special time for you this year.

It warmed my heart, not only as you gave tours around the apartment to people who came over, to show them all the little decorations spread around for you, but also how you were able to express how much it meant to you.

Over and over again, you told me how beautiful it was and how good a job I did. It made my heart melt, and it made it all worth it. I hope you not only enjoyed this holiday but so many more with me.
