You’re my everything

Dear Julia,

I have always been thinking about this project, and I have faltered at times to stay on top of this for us and for us. Life has just been very busy, and very hard in recent days, months, and even years.

Even though I haven’t been able to share as many updates on the spot, I do plan on going back and reliving some of the main parts of what it’s been like to be your father.

And hopefully, from now on, I will be able to set aside the time that I know I am capable of, and give you what might be an incredible gift for you later on in life.

I want to let you know, I am not perfect, in fact, your dad is very flawed. And at different times in your life, you may read that very differently. But I want to let you know, I am trying. I am reflecting, processing, and showing up in every way I can, with the means I have at that time.

Julia, I love you so much, and life would be nothing without you. You’re my everything, and I want to do everything I can in order to give you an amazing life, with the time you and I get to spend together.

Just wanted to share some thoughts, and a quick little update. And that I will be doing my best to create this space for me, you, and for us.
